Rescuing dogs & giving them a purpose through therapy and service training & then finding them a home is our goal. I have come to find that most owners / handlers do not have the time or patience to properly train a dog. So getting a dog trained before it finds a home helps out both the dog and the owner / handler.
Purpose
Giving a dog a purpose brings out the personality in a dog and makes it want to perform.
Training
We do positive reinforcement training by making a connection With the dog and then gaining its’ attention. We then do a light version of therapy or service training. Meaning we train the dog with out suppressing the dog while giving it a true purpose.
Placement
We find proper owners / handlers and homes for dogs through connecting them with the dogs therapy or service purposes.
Rescue Ranch
McKenzie & Manxy have the goal of running our canine rescue ranch, Like It Ruff. They rescue dogs and give them a purpose through specialized service training. Proceeds go towards a van, land, kennels, food, toys, treats and more. We are working towards owning a canine rescue ranch so as to have a place to give lost dogs a temporary home in order to train them with a purpose.
